Ford GT production extended by further two years

Demand for the new Ford GT far outstripping demand and expectation Ford has decided to extend production by a further two years. The initial 500 Ford GT has been snapped up with each costing $400,000.

Commenting on the news that the Ford GT will be increasing in production levels, Global Director of Ford, Dave Pericak said “While we can’t build enough Ford GTs for everyone who has applied, we are going to produce additional vehicles in an effort to satisfy more of our most loyal Ford ambassadors”.

With rumours that production levels will increase to 1,000 models, applicants on the waiting list will be year three of production customers, while deferred applications and those who missed the initial deadline will be served by year four production.
