Ford set to expand Vignale range
Since the launch of the Ford Mondeo Vignale last year, whispers have been heard throughout the industry that Ford has been looking to expand the Vignale brand across other models in the existing Ford range. At a recent press conference at the Geneva Motor Show Ford unveiled that the Kuga, Edge and S-Max will entering the market in the near future.
Featuring the Vignale signature hexagonal stitching, hand crafted premium materials within the interior and a dedicated Ford Vignale relationship manager, the expansion to the Vignale range will see Ford moving firmly into the premium car market.
Speaking about the impending launch of the new editions to the Vignale range Jim Farley, CEO and Chairman of Ford of Europe commented “Our customers have high aspirations, and they want more from Ford. On some vehicles, our top-of-the-line Titanium specifications make up 70% of all sales”, He added “With Ford Vignale, we can offer them the absolute best of Ford in terms of luxury and personal service. That’s why we are expanding from Ford Mondeo Vignale to our flagship products Edge and S-MAX, with Kuga to come soon after”.
Specifics about the engine options and trim levels are yet to be announced by Ford but are expected to replicate the high levels currently seen on the Ford Mondeo Vignale including the latest Ford SYNC3 hands free technology.
