Jennings Ford steers Motability customers on road to freedom with Mobility Open Days event

Motability customers are being invited to Jennings Ford, part of the multi-award winning Jennings Motor Group, to take part in an event aimed at steering more people on the road to mobility.

On Friday 21st through to and including Sunday 23rd April, staff at the group’s Stockton, Middlesbrough and Gateshead dealerships will be on hand to give advice and arrange test drives as part of Ford’s national Mobility Open Days event.

The aim of the event is to promote the Ford Motability programme to new and prospective customers who are eligible to lease a new car through the Motability programme, by inviting them to the dealerships to see the wide range of practical and stylish vehicles available through Ford Motor Company.  Throughout the event Jennings Ford’s trained and experienced Motability specialists will be on hand to give professional advice and guidance about the Motability programme and arrange test drives at the dealerships.

Jill Wilson, group Motability specialist at Jennings Ford in Stockton said; “We held a similar event towards the end of last year, which proved very successful and we are once again looking forward to welcoming many more Motability customers to the dealerships where they can see the wide range of award-winning Ford models available through the worry-free Motability scheme, and get professional advice from members of the dedicated teams.”

People who receive the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance; the Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment or War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement, can exchange their weekly payment to lease a new car every three years through the Motability scheme at Jennings Ford.

 

Other benefits include insurance for two named drivers, servicing, full breakdown assistance from the RAC, window and windscreen replacement and a 60,000 mile allowance during the three years.

Jennings Ford also offers an adaptation service to those customers who need to adapt the vehicle to meet specific needs.

The Motability charity was set up in 1977 with the aim to help disabled people, their families and carers become mobile.

Since 2012, Ford Motor Company has been the largest supplier of Motability vehicles.
