Jennings Motor Group goes back to its Model T roots

To help celebrate where it all began, Jennings Motor Group showrooms are welcoming back an old favourite. The legendary Ford Model T is on display until Sunday 23 February at Jennings Ford Middlesbrough before transferring to our Gateshead Ford showroom from Monday 24 February until Sunday 2 March.
Built at the Piquette Plant in Detroit, Michigan, the iconic car was the first vehicle mass-produced on a moving assembly line and is regarded by many as the first affordable car for the middle class. With 16.5 million units sold worldwide, the Ford Model T has a 4 cylinder 20 horsepower engine and capable of a top speed of 45mph.
The Heritage and Concept event also features the Fiesta XR2 hot hatch and the Ford IOsis X Concept car. A five door, four seat family car, the IOsis x is fitted with a 2.0 litre TDCi engine and loaded with advanced technology including bright a glass floor and bright orange features including for Alcantara sports seats.
The Heritage Event runs until Sunday 23 February at Jennings Ford Middlesbrough before transferring to Jennings Ford Gateshead from Monday 24 February until Sunday 2 March.
