Lee’s loyalty reaps rewards at Jennings Ford

A member of staff at Jennings Ford, part of the multi-award winning Jennings Motor Group, has been rewarded for two decades of loyalty to the company
Lee Spence, 40, from Stockton, was presented with his loyalty certificate and vouchers by Nas Khan OBE, managing director of Jennings Motor Group.
Nas said; “It was a pleasure presenting Lee with his reward for achieving 20 years of loyalty - he is an asset to the sales team at Stockton.
“Lee is one of 28 employees across the group receiving awards this year for a combined loyalty of 690 years – which is an incredible achievement.”
In addition to retaining staff, over the years, Jennings Motor Group has also been building a loyal customer database, and continues to witness generations of the same family coming to the company for their motoring needs.
Nas added; “We have a very strong staff and customer database, which sets us apart from our competitors.”
Lee’s career with the motor dealer group began in 1997 when he was appointed as a sales executive at Jennings Ford in Stockton. Six years later, he received a promotion to sales controller and transferred to work at the group’s former branch in Carville, Durham. In 2006, he transferred back to the Stockton-based dealership.
In his role as sales controller, Lee is responsible for assisting general manager, Ray Riaz, with the day-to-day running of the sales department, which consists of a 20-strong team, in addition to contributing towards monthly and quarterly sales objectives set out by Ford Motor Company.
Offering the highest level of customer service has resulted in both the sales and service departments at Jennings Ford in Stockton winning Ford’s most prestigious Chairman’s Award on several occasions.
The group operates two dealerships in Teesside, including Yarm Road, Stockton and Cargo Fleet Lane, Middlesbrough, in addition to Eslington Park in Gateshaed. All dealerships sell the entire new Ford model line-up, in addition to offering a range of aftersales facilities, including service, MOT, accident repair and parts.
