Mazda scores highest customer satisfaction for 25 years

Beating 24 leading car manufacturers in the latest National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) survey, Mazda has been named in the top five manufacturers for customer satisfaction. Achieving its highest score since 1992, the result represents the hard work that has been undertaken within the dealer network.

Averaging 7.5 out of 10 in the recent ‘Winter 2017 Dealer Attitude Survey’, Mazda reversed the industry trend that saw levels fall. Speaking about the improved results for Mazda, Jeremey Thompson, Mazda UK Managing Director commented “We have worked hard to build mutually-beneficial relationships with our dealer network, so it is gratifying to see that our efforts are appreciated in the latest NFDA survey. We are now entering another exciting period for Mazda as our retail partners get their hands on the all-new Mazda MX-5 RF, and later this year, the stylish all-new Mazda CX-5. We will continue to listen to our dealers and, building on this positive feedback, will redouble our efforts to be an ‘easy to do business with’ manufacturer.”
Speaking about the results from 1,704 respondents that covered 29 leading manufactures, Sue Robinson, Director of the NFDA highlighted the “enormous increases” achieved by Mazda with a score of 8.5 achieved when recipients were asked how easy it was to work with Mazda. Moving its dealer training and recruitment to a specialist ‘Mazda Academy’ in Dartford, Kent, Mazda has focused on improving customer satisfaction through its operations.
