With the recent launch of the game changing Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV that delivers up to a stunning 148mgg on a combined cycle and omits only 44g/km of CO2, Mitsubishi has shown that it is an industry leader when it comes to hybrid technology. Using 2.5l Mitsubishi clean diesel engine and a front mounted electric motor the GR-HEV takes the PHEV technology and adds it to a heavy duty pickup that can meet the rugged demands of business. The target CO2 levels of a whopping 149 g/km smash what is currently available on the market even from the industry leading new Mitsubishi L200 that has recently released 173g/km of CO2 on a combined cycle.
The Mitsubishi GR-HEV Concept takes advantage of the award-winning Mitsubishi 4WD technology that features Super All Wheel Control (S-AWC) control system. This has the capacity to deliver superb stability traction and offers excellent driving performance whatever the driving conditions.
With a muscular and rugged body the Concept GR-HEV features a 5.42m long dual cab body based heavily on the award winning Mitsubishi L200. At the rear the load bed is an extension of the cabin that features all the capacity and practicality you would expect from a Mitsubishi pickup.
