Models available in the range include the Picanto, Rio, Soul, Venga, cee’d GT, new cee’d, cee’d Sportswagon, new pro_cee’d and pro_cee’d GT, in addition to the all-new Optima and Sportage models, which have recently been launched at the dealership.
David Phillips, franchise manager at the Jennings Kia dealership, said “We have had an exceptionally good start to the year and first quarter, which is mainly down to Kia’s high quality product range, in addition to the manufacturer’s competitive seven-year peace of mind warranty package and a variety of competitive customer savings, low rate finance and deposit contributions.
“The recent launch of the fourth edition Sportage model has also contributed towards sales success at the dealership, in addition to the all-new Optima saloon model.”
Kia’s most popular model in Europe, the all-new compact SUV Sportage, which made its debut in 2015 at the Frankfurt International Motor Show, has been given a completely new design and features an attractive, all-new interior and exterior, a host of advanced new technology features, revised engines and greater quality.
Customers can choose from six versions, including ‘1’, ‘2’, ‘3’, ‘4’, ‘First Edition’ and a new GT Line’.
A new 1.6-litre T-GDi is available for the first time on the Sportage and exclusively for GT Line buyers.
The latest model is available with a choice of 16, 17 or 19-inch aluminium alloy wheel design, with the GT Line specification available with a unique 19-inch wheel option as standard.
Customers opting for a saloon rather than an SUV, can take advantage of Kia’s all-new Optima model, which not only features cutting edge technologies, but also new powertrains that cut emissions by up to 25 per cent.
The all-new model is loaded with class-leading technologies, such as wireless phone charging, a safety enhancing 360-degree Around View Monitor and a reversing camera.
The model is currently available in three versions, including ‘2’, ‘3’ and ‘4’ with the GT and GT Line versions due to be added later this year.
Major improvements in comfort, refinement and space such as Lane Keep Assist, Speed Limit Information Function, Blind Spot Detection and Rear Cross Traffic Alert Technologies, which aim to help improve driver safety, are also available.
A cut by up to 25 per cent in emissions from previous models, has also resulted in the all-new Optima falling by three tax bands and Vehicle Excise Duty decreasing by up to £150.
All of Kia’s new cars come with the manufacturer’s market-leading seven year 100,00 mile warranty, as well as Kia’s Care-3 and Care-3 Plus servicing packages, offering retail and fleet customers fixed-cost, inflation proof servicing for the first three or five years.
Customers who purchase a car from Jennings Kia, can also take advantage of a service, MOT and parts department based at the Washington and Stockton dealerships.
