The best-selling car in the UK has been spied undergoing testing ahead of its rumoured relaunch next year. Set to be slightly larger in size and of a higher specification that the current Ford Fiesta it has big shoes to fill.

At the rear of the new Ford Fiesta you notice the biggest changes with the introduction of wider tail lights. Giving the impression of a much wider chassis despite the new Ford Fiesta set to be just slightly bigger than the current version. The interior is set to be improved to compete with the latest small hatchbacks on the market, whilst Ford SYNC3 and technology including traffic sign recognition is set to available as an option.
Whilst the new engine options are set to include the latest EcoBoost three-cylinder to differentiate the Ford Fiesta from the new Ford KA+, diesel options will also be available possibly including a fuel efficient Econetic option.
A Vignale version of the new Ford Fiesta is a distinctive possibility…. When asked the question Roelant de Waard head of Ford’s European sales and marketing commented “Never say never“, adding “We sell expensive Fiestas and EcoSports; it may be true over time that the same thing happens and we realise there is more that we can offer. Size is not equal to luxury any more.
