Posted on 12 Dec 2014
The 24th instalment of the James Bond films, ’Spectre’, was officially launched in London last week and 007s new car cause quite a stir.
The Aston Martin DB10 was revealed as Bonds latest car and we can all see why. It is the epitome of style, class and sophistication, the ultimate car for the world’s most famous spy.
The DB10 has been specifically designed for the film and the production will be strictly limited to ten of the super cars.
We will have to wait until 2015 to see if it lives up to Bonds former cars but let’s take a look at some of the best 007 cars we have seen over the years.
Bonds first car was the Sunbeam Alpine, featured in the 1962 film Dr No. The convertible is a far cry from the gadget packed cars he drives now and had no modifications made to it.
The most famous 007 car, the Aston Martin DB5, was first seen in the 1964 film Goldfinger but then went on to feature in Thunderball, GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, Casino Royale and Skyfall.
James Bond would not be the same without all of his car gadgets, and what more could we ask for than a car that turns into a submarine. The Lotus Esprit was introduced in The Spy Who Loved Me (1977).
In one of the more recent James Bond movies, Casino Royale, we see him driving the new generation Ford Mondeo in the opening scene. As Ford used to own Aston Martin, it was only a matter of time before we seen one featured in a 007 film. New Ford Mondeo is now available find out more.comments powered by
