New Kia Sportage set for UK launch

Kia has announced that a New Kia Sportage is set to be introduced to the UK market. Featuring a number of updates to the interior and exterior, the New Kia Sportage will build on the success of the award-winning SUV.

The Sportage exterior design will include new ‘Sporty’ front and rear bumpers. Incorporating redesigned front and rear lamps, options will include five new paint choices, metallic skid plates and chrome sill trim. Fresh alloy wheel designs will be available in 16”, 17” and 19” sizes.
A host of new technologies will be included with the New Kia Sportage. These will include the latest advanced driving assistance systems that incorporate Around View Monitor, Driver Attention Warning to combat inattentiveness and fatigue, and Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go. Information system choices will include 7” and a new ‘frameless’ 8” touchscreen.
New engine options
Ensuring that the New Kia Sportage meets the latest Euro 6d TEMP emissions standards, a range of new engine options will be available. With the cleanest Kia engines, diesel options include a 1.6l CRDi engine that produces 115 or 135PS.
New Kia Sportage GT-Line
With unique 19” alloy wheels, dual exhaust rear valance and revised ice cube LED fog lights, the New Kia Sportage GT-Line will be a sporty SUV. Additionally, it will be equipped with gloss black and silver skid plates, dark chrome inserts on side sills and a gloss black hot-stamped radiator grill.
