If you are looking for a review impressed by the new SEAT Ibiza then look no further than what Auto Express stated in their opening line. Commenting “The new Ibiza sets a new benchmark in the supermini sector and, once monthly finance deals are available to assess, could well achieve a coveted five star rating. Its refinement, space, quality and kit will be talking points, while its sense of style stands out among some pretty dull rivals”. We think that they like it.
As the first supermini in the VW Group to get the latest platform tech, it is set to be more spacious inside that current version- the width increases 87mm wider and the wheelbase extended by 95mm. Storage has been improved also with the boot offering an impressive 355 litres capacity.
Offering the quality that you would expect from a VW Group vehicle, the new SEAT Ibiza has “a grown up feel that this sector has not seen before” added Auto Express. Exact engine options have yet to be formally announced by SEAT, but are expected to a punchy 1.0l 114bhp three cylinder petrol engine that can offer around 60mpg on a combined cycle.
