Caravan owners are being attracted to Jennings SEAT, part of the Jennings Motor Group, and it’s all down to a specific model in the award-winning range.

Having recently been crowned ‘Caravan Club Towcar of the Year 2015’, the Leon ST Estate model, which was officially launched at the beginning of the year, has generated a high level of enquiries, test drives and boosted sales at the group’s Cargo Fleet Lane dealership in Middlesbrough.

39 entries consisting of six price classes and two weight categories across a diverse entry range including estates, saloons, hatchbacks, small 4x4s, SUVs, large off roaders and an electric/petrol hybrid, competed in the awards, with the SEAT Leon scooping the crown in the £20K - £25K category, in addition to being crowned overall winner of the Caravan Club Towcar of the Year 2015.

Each vehicle endured the same vigorous series of trials with towing performance and caravan ability, in addition to how much space individual vehicles has to offer, value for money, initial purchase price and overall running costs being taken into account.

Craig Johnson, franchise manager at the Jennings SEAT dealership in Middlesbrough, said;

“Since its launch, the new Leon ST Estate, which offers exceptional practicality, has generated a significant number of test drives, in addition to contributing towards boosting sales at the dealership.

“Winning the award from the Caravan Club, which further endorses the overall performance, practicality and style of the Leon ST model, is a fantastic achievement and has attracted even more caravan owners to the dealership for test drives.”
