Sneak preview of all-new Mazda MX-5 at Jennings

Customers wanting to see Mazda’s hotly-anticipated new convertible, will be able to do so at an exclusive preview event using the latest in technology this weekend at Jennings Mazda, part of the Jennings Motor Group.

On Saturday 18th July, between 9.30am and 12pm, the Cargo Fleet Lane dealership will host the all-new Mazda MX-5, which made its debut in October at the LA Motor Show. 

Part of a nationwide preview tour to mark the latest model scheduled to join the popular Mazda range, customers will not only be able to see the latest all-new MX-5, but also experience it using the latest high-tech Oculus Rift virtual reality headsets.

Using the special headsets, customers can interact with a high-definition 3D version of the iconic Mazda MX-5, personalising the car’s exterior colours and interior trim in an instant according to their preferences.

“The convertible is the world’s best-selling two seater sports car and the new incarnation promises to be a hit with both fans and new customers to the brand. We have given customers the opportunity to experience the virtual reality Oculus Rift Technology in past preview events for the new Mazda2 and CX-3 models, which were both well attended and a huge success.

“The technology allows customers to be transported to a virtual environment, where they can explore the details of the vehicle in all sorts of specifications – whether it’s colours, equipment or interior trim.”


Jennings Mazda is taking pre-orders for the all-new Mazda MX-5 model, which is available with a 1.5-litre 131ps and 2.0-litre 160ps petrol engine, with a choice of nine models across five trim levels.
