The new Ford KA+ revealed
After many months of speculation online the new Ford KA+ has been revealed. Bigger than the second edition of the Ford KA that it is set to replace it will be almost as big as the current Ford Fiesta MK6.5.

Set to have a starting price of around £9,000 Ford believe that the combination of space, low running costs and initial price will attract customers to it. With production set to be at Ford’s India factories, the quality, build and handling will be improved to meet European specifications. Incorporating many Ford Fiesta components as well as Ford’s global small car chassis, the new Ford KA+ is set to be available in the choice of three specifications each powered by a 1.2l petrol engine with an average mpg of 56.5mpg on a combined cycle.
The Ford KA+ will have seating for five adults in comfort as well as an impressive 270l of boot capacity that includes 13l of underfloor storage – only 10l less than the current Ford Fiesta. Spec is set to include Bluetooth as standard with DAB and heated seats on higher specs. The Ford KA+ is yet to be put through a EuroNCAP test but Darren Palmer, director of B-platform vehicles at Ford, commented the Ford KA+ is to “perform at least as well as the current Fiesta”.
