UK Ford Focus RS allocation set to increase

Following on from the large demand for the Ford Focus RS since orders have started being taken the numbers available to the UK public are set to increase. Reports state that the allocation is being increased by 1,000 thanks to lower demand in other markets.

The Ford production facility in Cologne is currently working at maximum capacity to fulfil existing orders that can see a wait of up to 14 months. Ford has said that customers are currently able to place orders for the Ford Focus RS, with Jennings Motor Group accepting deposits on 0333 414 9750.
Additionally, rumours are rife that a special Ford Focus RS500 edition is set to be launched that will feature lighter components than the existing edition and a stripped out interior with carbon fibre-reinforced plastic bodywork as well as the current 2.3l 345bhp turbocharged petrol engine.
