Previously, the Outlander PHEV has switched between hybrid and petrol mode when travelling. The new edition will feature an ‘EV Priority’ function that allows you to drive up to the full 33 mile range without moving between the two fuel modes saving fuel consumption.
Additionally, electronic devices can be kept charged thanks to a 1,5000W power supply. Compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto allows the built in infotainment system to be fully up to date and keep you in touch with the outside world while on the move.
The safety equipment has been updated with clever features including rear cross traffic alert, LEF fog lamps and a pedestrian detection system now featuring across the Outlander PHEV range.
