I have a 51 plate, Focus LX 1.8. Recently, when slowing to a stop at a junction and depressing the clutch, the engine revs drop to around 650 - 700 rpm, giving the car a slight judder, as if it's about to stall. Periodically, the above is also accompanied by the battery light flickering on and off on the instrument panel as the car slows and the clutch is depressed.
Since this fault started, I've also noticed the radio will often cut out randomly, before coming back on, is this some kind of electrical problem and could it be linked to the above (battery)?
Any help much appreciated!
check the carge of the battery then it will have to go to the local Ford dealer
