Yesterday morning my seat leon cupra 1.9 diesel started fine then after an hour and a half of being at our destination the car battery light was on and nothing would happen at all, I dont think its the battery dead as we used electric cables on it and managed to bump start it. After I switched the engine off again and started it nothing would happen again, not sven bumoing it. Could it be the alternator or starter motor?
Please help thankyou
It could be the starter battery or the charging system, check all battery cables first to make sure they are not loose
