I've owned this 2003 Fiesta 1.4 tdci for a month now. It's done 113500 miles. Despite working the engine up some hills to clear the fuel system out and shift the soot, I still get black smoke. It's worse when pulling away in second. It passes an MOT emissions test ok. Air and oil filters have been changed.
Any idea on what could be causing the black smoke please?
check the filters after that it may be dirty injectors
