Mitsubishi Active Stability Control

Standard on all new Mitsubishi cars Active Stability Control is a key part of the Mitsubishi safety systems. Helping drivers maintain control in poor weather and when undertaking emergency stops it helps keep you safe on the road whatever the conditions.

How does Mitsubishi Stability Control work?

Electronically monitoring each of the four car tyres continuously for traction and grip to the road below, Mitsubishi Active Stability Control identifies when the grip cannot be maintained in each tyre or there is a sudden steering wheel input. When this is identified then the system automatically applies the brakes to the effected wheel whilst adjusting the engine to help maintain driver control.

Additionally, sensors monitor tyre traction and work alongside the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) to help on roads that are snowy or wet.
